The European Commission has now signed the Grant Agreement for the project SINE2020. SINE2020, world-class Science and Innovation with Neutrons in Europe in 2020, will start this year on October 1st and will last four years. It will be funded through the EU H2020 framework.

All the steps are being taken for the establishment of the contract. The project's 18 partners were now invited to sign the Accession forms, and the establishment of the Consortium Agreement is also in progress.

Like NMI3, the new project is a consortium of the main European neutron facilities and academic partners and is coordinated by the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL). Thus, the SINE2020 kick-off meeting will indeed take place at the same time as the NMI3 final General Assembly.
