Post Doctoral opening in Small-Angle Scattering at IPNS

A post-doctoral position is immediately available at the Intense Pulsed
Neutron Source (IPNS) Division, Argonne National Laboratory to conduct
structural biology research by using SANS and synchrotron SAXS.  Selected
candidate will participate in the ongoing research programs in protein and
RNA folding, aggregation of amyloids and the self assembly of block
copolymers. Other responsibilities include assistance to the SANS users at
IPNS and development of data analysis software. A Ph.D. awarded within the
last two to three years in physics, biophysics, chemistry, or materials
science is required. Highly desirable are knowledge in protein
crystallography, experience in SANS/SAXS applications, modeling software
development, willingness to collaborate with scientists in structural
biology and materials science.
