[Neutron] Research Scientist Position at the NCNR

The <http://www.ncnr.nist.gov/>NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR) is 
in the process of installing new state-of-the-art 
<http://www.ncnr.nist.gov/instruments/bt7_new/index.html>thermal neutron 
triple-axis 
<http://www.ncnr.nist.gov/instruments/bt7_new/index.html>instruments, and 
as part of this upgrade applications are sought for an Instrument Scientist 
position in the Condensed Matter Physics Team.  Experience in triple-axis 
neutron spectrometry or related techniques is desirable but not 
essential.  The position could be in conjunction with the University of 
Maryland, with the neutron research being conducted at the 
NCNR   Appointments are typically three years and starting salaries are 
$50,000+ depending on qualifications and experience.  The incumbent is 
expected to collaborate with scientific users at the NCNR, as well as 
perform their own independent research.
