ASSISTANT SCIENTIST
Materials Science Division

The Neutron and X-ray Scattering Group of the Materials Science 
Division at Argonne National Laboratory is seeking candidates for an 
assistant scientist position focused on research of the structure and 
dynamics of lamellar vesicles and biological and/or polymeric 
membranes.    Candidates must have received a Ph.D. in physics, 
chemistry, biology or a similar discipline and have at least two years 
experience beyond Ph.D. in a research environment.   Experience in the 
application of neutron and x-ray scattering techniques to the study of 
biological and/or polymeric membranes is required.  Candidates should 
demonstrate sound research accomplishments, the ability to develop and 
lead an independent research program, and potential for collaboration 
with existing related programs at Argonne National Laboratory.
