Dear IDT and friends of CORELLI,

The CORELLI Instrument Development Team (IDT) Meeting will be held as a break-out session at the ICNS-2009 in Knoxville, TN - May 5, 2009.
*        When - Tuesday, May 5, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm
* Where - Room 200C at the Knoxville Convention Center

The Elastic Diffuse Scattering Spectrometer (CORELLI) is a unique instrument at the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) whose concept combines advantages of the time-of-flight spectrometers and cross-correlation technique. It is designed to probe complex disorder in crystalline materials through studying the diffuse scattering. CORELLI will begin construction near the end of 2009 with the completion scheduled for 2013. An update on the status and schedule of CORELLI construction will be presented along with future plans.

For more details about CORELLI, contact Feng Ye: yef1 at ornl.gov<mailto:yef1 at ornl.gov>, Stephan Rosenkranz: srosenkranz at anl.gov<mailto:srosenkranz at anl.gov>, or Ray Osborn: rosborn at anl.gov<mailto:rosborn at anl.gov>
