Your tasks

- Participation in the detailed design and construction of a new generation instrument going towards polarized neutron single crystal diffraction under high magnetic fields
- Participation in the user service 
- Conducting own scientific research

Your profile

The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in physics or chemistry and 2-3 years of experience in neutron instrumentation, specifically single crystal diffraction. 
Knowledge on polarized neutron scattering technique is mandatory. Your scientific working field should fit into our main fields in magnetism and novel materials. 
Excellent communication skills and team spirit are required. The term is limited to two years.
Languages: English is required, French and/or German are advantageously. You will work in a controlled radiation area with flexible working hours.
