scientist, with experience in reflectometry and/or small-angle scattering, is
sought to conduct research on biomembrane systems. The National Deuteration
Facility’s ability to produce deuterated lipids, proteins and peptides
offers the opportunity for a sophisticated approach to using neutron scattering
to further understanding of the basis of membrane structure and behaviour, and
how peptides and proteins interact with membrane systems. Candidates who can
demonstrate strong success in an experimental approach to one or more of these
problems using neutrons will be favored.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
