neutrons organized concurrently with the ICNS meeting in Knoxville, TN,

the upcoming Lujan Center Enhancement project
materializing, we would like to gather stakeholders in the world
of neutron Total Scattering and powder diffraction to discuss
the path forward for
the refurbishment and upgrade of two instruments at the <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Lujan</st1:placename> <st1:placetype
w:st="on">Center</st1:placetype></st1:place>
(HIPD, NPDF). This satellite session intends to focus on <i><b>what
are the
community
needs in the field of neutron PDF</b></i> and what is the <i><b>path
forward </b></i>in the
next
five, ten and 20 years. An Instrument Advisory team will be formed and
a report will be
elaborated with the ideas from this session. Slots will be available
during the first two hours for short presentations from the attendants.
