<P>The <A

color=#0079c2>5th call for proposals</FONT></A> is open, with a deadline 
of 30th May 2010. All <A 
href="http://www.ansto.gov.au/research/bragg_institute/facilities/instruments"><FONT 
color=#0079c2>7 initial instruments</FONT></A> (powder diffraction, <A 
href="http://www.ansto.gov.au/research/bragg_institute/facilities/instruments/quokka"><FONT 
color=#0079c2>SANS</FONT></A>, <A 
href="http://www.ansto.gov.au/research/bragg_institute/facilities/instruments/platypus"><FONT 
color=#0079c2>reflectometry</FONT></A>, <A 
href="http://www.ansto.gov.au/research/bragg_institute/facilities/instruments/kowari"><FONT 
color=#0079c2>strain scanning</FONT></A>, <A 
href="http://www.ansto.gov.au/research/bragg_institute/facilities/instruments/koala"><FONT 
color=#0079c2>single-crystal diffraction</FONT></A>, <A 
href="http://www.ansto.gov.au/research/bragg_institute/facilities/instruments/taipan"><FONT 
color=#0079c2>triple axis</FONT></A>) are included, in addition to <A 
href="http://www.ansto.gov.au/research/bragg_institute/facilities/molecular_deuteration/biological_deuteration_laboratories"><FONT 
color=#0079c2>bio-</FONT></A> and <A 
href="http://www.ansto.gov.au/research/bragg_institute/facilities/molecular_deuteration/chemical_deuteration_laboratories"><FONT 
color=#0079c2>chemical-</FONT></A>deuteration. Proposal review will take place 
in June and July, with the <A 
href="http://www.ansto.gov.au/research/bragg_institute/About_the_Bragg_Institute/committees/program_advisary_committee"><FONT 
color=#0079c2>Program Advisory Committee</FONT></A> meeting on 27-28 July. The 
first experiments in this round are likely to be scheduled at the beginning 
of October 2010.</P>
