I would like to draw your attention to the opening of two tenure-track
positions at Vienna University of Technology, one in experimental the
other in theoretical condensed matter physics (see attachment).<br>
<br>
For the experimental condensed matter physics position, synergies with
the ongoing ERC advanced grant project QuantumPuzzle
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://erc.tuwien.ac.at/">http://erc.tuwien.ac.at/</a>) should be demonstrated. Note that this does
not require the successful candidate to have previously worked on
quantum criticality. Synergies can be achieved in numerous ways, e.g.,
by using<br>
<br>
neutron scattering or X-ray techniques<br>
measurements in high fields, at high pressures, or at low- and
ultra-low temperatures<br>
molecular beam epitaxy<br>
microwave </font><font size="+1">experiments<br>
</font><font size="+1">optical or electron spectroscopy<br>

Ultimately, the successful candidate should develop an attractive
independent research profile!<br>
