materials contain key information that is indispensable in order to understand
atomic bonding in condensed matter. Inelastic neutron scattering experiments
provide high quality vibrational spectra from a few meV to a few hundred
meV, which serve as input to models of atomic bonding and even structural
models of complex compounds. The Workshop will highlight new and existing high
energy transfer spectrometers in the leading neutron scattering centres (ILL,
ISIS, SNS and others) as well as available computational resources. The
Workshop will focus on an exchange of results and ideas from different
