<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">A collaboration between Delft University of Technology, Wageningen University and Dutch food industries will develop a unique suite of complementary small angle scattering and NMR techniques to quantify multiscale structures
 in food systems under dynamic processing conditions. Three PhD students will exploit the food structural expertise available in the consortium for generation of hierarchical models describing food structure.<br>
Two PhD student positions are available in Delft. One student will focus on cellulose by small-angle X-ray scattering during processing and will perform measurements at the synchrotron ESRF in Grenoble. The second student will focus on small-angle neutron scattering
 on the aggregation of proteins under shear and will do some experimental work at the neutron facility at the Bragg institute in Australia.

<h3><a name="requirements" id="t_requirements"></a><span lang="EN-GB">Requirements<o:p></o:p></span></h3>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Due to the interdisciplinary nature of our research, we are looking for an excellent and highly motivated team worker with an MSc degree in physical chemistry or physics. Ideally, you have proven knowledge of scattering
 techniques and data analysis. Experience in NMR techniques and programming is advantageous. A good command of the English language is required.
