associate with expertise in neutron and synchrotron X-ray

research will be conducted at the University of Virginia,
Department of Physics, with the scattering work carried out at

appointment with the possibility of renewal for one or two
additional years if mutually agreeable, contingent upon
availability of funding. The successful candidate must have
completed the requirements for a PhD in experimental condensed
matter. Priority will be given to candidates with experimental
