Job description

Your Tasks

  • Development of advanced low-temperature sample environment devices for neutron scattering experiments
  • Synthesis of novel materials using solid state chemistry; growth of single-crystals
  • Measurement of physical properties of novel materials
  • Planning, preparation and execution of experiments at large scale facilities

Requested Profile
  • PhD in physics, material science or engineering with experience in low-temperature physics
  • Experience with dilution refrigerators or other ultra-low temperature techniques
  • Expertise in sample characterization techniques and material synthesis
