                  Third Summer School on Neutron Scattering

                          Magnetic Neutron Scattering

           20 - 26 August 1995, Lyceum Alpinum, Zuoz, Switzerland

The main purpose of the Summer School is to give participants an introduction
to the basic principles of neutron scattering and its application to the study
of magnetic materials. The lectures will cover both theoretical and experi-
mental aspects, with particular emphasis on the future utilisation of the
instrumentation now under construction at the spallation neutron source SINQ
at PSI. No previous knowledge of the subject is required, but an honours
degree in natural science (equivalent to the diploma) is essential. The
programme of the School will include seminars and poster sessions in which
the participants can present their own results in the field of neutron
scattering from magnetic materials.

Residential accomodation will be available at the Lyceum Alpinum in Zuoz
(costs: approximately 500 Swiss Francs, including full board, excursion,
banquet and Proceedings). The number of participants will be limited to 100.
