Lectureship in Polymer Physics

This position may be of interest to neutron users and small-angle
scatterers. The Department of Physics has a strong neutron related
activity in both polymers (GR Mitchell) and in other materials (AC Wright
and RJ Stewart). Reading is 30 minutes drive from The ISIS Facility. There
is also extensive use of Synchrotron Radiation Sources within the
Department of Physics.

Lectureship in Polymer Physics

Applications are invited for a Lectureship in the Department of Physics
from candidates with strong research interests in an area of polymer
physics which complements existing research activities. The Polymer
Physics Group has an outstanding research record with extensive
facilities and the lecturer appointed will be expected and encouraged to
play a full part in its future research. There are interdisciplinary
programmes with the Department of Chemistry through the Polymer Science
Centre. 

The lectureship is available immediately and is initially for a fixed
period to 30th September 2000. The salary will be in the Grade A range.
