You're invited to be part of one of Australia's foremost scientific
research and development organisations, focused on delivering the
benefits of nuclear science to the Australian community. Based in
southern Sydney, our neutron scattering scientists are responsible for
the operation, research use, design, and development of a range of
neutron beam instruments.
 
We seek a Software Engineer for Scientific Applications to support our
research team and international collaborations. Your background will
demonstrate creativity and innovation. 
 
To be successful in this position you will need to possess:
 

*	Degree or higher in a relevant discipline such as Computing,
Physics or Mathematics 
*	Customer focus 
*	A high level of creativity, coupled with a disciplined approach
to software quality 
*	Extensive experience in the use of UML, Java, and Eclipse RCP 
*	Experience in software architecture, design, development,
testing, deployment & documentation 
*	Experience in the software project management and agile methods 

Starting salary will be negotiated depending upon your qualifications
and experience. 
To be eligible for appointment, applicants will require a security and
medical assessment and must be Australian citizens.  The successful
candidate will be offered a 2 year term in the first instance.
