The Paul Scherrer Institute employs 1400 members of staff and is the largest research centre for the natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland and a worldwide leading user laboratory. Its research activities are concentrated on the main topics structure of matter, energy and environmental research as well as human health.

For the development and implementation of advanced neutron imaging techniques, mainly focussed on the future European Spallation Source ESS, we are looking for a 

 *** Postdoctoral Fellow for methods development in neutron imaging using polarized neutrons ***

Your tasks:
You will contribute to the design and future implementation of an imaging beamline for ESS by testing the advanced imaging techniques at existing facilities at SINQ, PSI. You will work actively within a team of experts in the field of neutron imaging who operates two particular beamlines at SINQ.

Your profile:
You hold a PhD in physics, materials science, image processing or applied science. You are willing to start theoretical and experimental work in a new research area - neutron imaging at a pulsed source.
