Dear Colleagues,

This is the reminder that the deadline for the application submission for the 10th AONSA neutron school is June, 15th.

This school provides an introduction to neutron scattering techniques including hands-on experiments and data analysis conducted using available instruments at ANSTO.

Lectures sessions will cover a range of neutron elastic and inelastic scattering as well as diffraction techniques with scientific applications in a diverse range of fields including biology, chemistry and physics. During the five days intensive study course, you will also have the opportunity to learn from leading experts and conduct practical work on some of the world’s top neutron instruments.
The school is designed for the graduate students, PhD students, post-doctoral and early-career researchers who want to learn about neutron scattering and imaging.
The school is open to both local and international participants, however there is a strict limit of 30 participants, to ensure small group sizes for the practical experiments. The registration fee will cover your accommodation and meals for the entire week.

Applicants are requested to complete the application form with justification for their attendance. While previous knowledge of neutron scattering techniques is not essential, it is preferred. Preference will also be given to those applicants who can demonstrate a future need for the neutron scattering techniques in their scientific research.

Visit our site at http://aonsa2018.sydney<http://aonsa2018.sydney/> to submit the abstract.
The deadline for Abstract submission is June, 15th.
Registration will be open on 6th of July. Registration fee is 450 Australian dollars, which will cover accommodation and meals during the school.

With the best regards,
10th AONSA school organising committee
