J-PARC

J-PARC consists of a series of world-class proton accelerators and three experimental facilities that make to use secondary beams produced through spallation reactions between protons and target materials. The experimental facilities include the Materials and Life Science facility (MLF) for neutrons and muons, the Hadron facility for kaons, pions etc. and the Neutrino facility (T2K). Leading-edge neutron-instruments have been already installed in MLF. Open to users from around the globe and put to use in cutting-edge research across a wide range of scientific fields. The applications of these instruments include fundamental physics, materials and life science, energy science and technology.
