The Swiss Neutron Scattering Society (SGN/SSDN) is one of the representatives of the neutron scatterers in Switzerland. The goals of the society are:

• Advancement of neutron scattering
• Support of young scientists
• Exchange of scientific ideas
• Cultivation of interdisciplinary relations
• Relations to international associations
• Support of optimum access to national and international neutron sources

Twice a year the society publishes the ‘Swiss Neutron News’ with recent news and information about neutron scattering inside and outside Switzerland.
